Project 'Along fishermen's cottages and wind turbines'. A sailing trip from the Zuiderzee of 1873 to the IJsselmeer of today. In 1873 a Frenchman, Henry Havard, sailed around the Zuiderzee, and wrote a wonderful book about it: 'Picturesque voyage along the dead towns of the Zuiderzee'. 150 years later, Ronald Nijboer retraces his journey and compares the places of then with now, colored with stories of today. He asks questions about how we will deal with our space in this area in the future, with the pressure on the landscape and our heritage.
