Exhibition 'A Better City

On 16 March 2017, the exhibition 'A Better City' was opened in the Stadsarchief by Mayor Van der Laan. Although the research and the simultaneously presented publication end in the 1970s, the exhibition deliberately chose to show that the development continues. This is made visible by means of four themes with corresponding dates: 1935 design, 1958 implementation, 2000 restructuring and 2017 revaluation. To bring the maps and plans to life, radio games, short films of the sublime places and animations are used. The exhibition runs until 16 July 2017.
