'City to Dust', breaking floors at the opening of the Venice Architecture Biennale

Last May 19, the Venice Architecture Biennale kicked off. As previously announced, the installation by Studio LA, supported by the EFL Foundation, can now be admired here until 21 November 2021. The porous floor, depicting the map of Venice, literally breaks when touched by the visitor. This will raise the visitor's awareness of its impact on the city.

When you touch the floor, you can hear the tiles cracking, with each step having a direct impact. The cracks in the floor can be clearly seen in the photo of the terrazo floor.

Location: Arsenale Venice.

on display from 19 May 2021 - 21 November 2021
